The housing market

The housing market in Denmark is complex. There are housing association flats and houses, rented accommodation, owner-occupied homes, student hostels, and many other types of residence.   This video takes us round them, answering questions such as what to look out for when you buy a home, and how to arrange a mortgage or finance a housing association dwelling. We visit a housing association with its articles of incorporation and its rules for residents. We look at the way students live at a hostel.   It can be hard to find a home in Denmark, particularly if you want to live in Copenhagen. It takes active effort and you have to have your wits about you. This video provides a few specific tips on how to go about it.
