Annette Mari Olsen

Film director and Producer

Grew up in Denmark, Iran and England. Mag. Art film director from the Polish Film School in Lodz. Directed several award-winning films in Poland. https://filmpolski.pl/fp/index.php?osoba=117318 Taught direction at the Danish Film School, where she also acted as supervisor. Worked as Media consultant for the Danish Refugee Council. Has often had assignments as simultaneous interpreter: English, Farsi/Persian, Polish, French and Danish, which lead to inspiring encounters, which resulted in the production of a number of award-winning films about minorities in Denmark. Two-time Winner of Prix Europa. In 1987, she launched her own independent film production company Sfinx Film/TV, in association with her colleague cinematographer Katia Forbert Petersen.

Katia Forbert Petersen

Film director and photographer

Grew up in Poland. Educated at the Polish Film School and Bachelor in Film Science from Copenhagen University in Denmark. Has photographed approx. 250 films, including several international features and has directed some eighty documentaries. Received several awards as director and also the Danish Film Photographer Association's annual award. Two-times Special Award for Best Photography at ITVA Festival in Copenhagen. International award for Best Photography and also winner as co-director for Best TV Documentary at the ITVA Festival in New Orleans USA. In 2007 she received the Danish Robert Award as codirector for the film Sound on Life, for best documentary film.
