This video looks at the many ways in which Danes live together, starting out from the nuclear family with mum, dad, and the children, and takes in registered partnerships for gays and lesbians, single parents, and families made up of children from previous marriages.   We visit a young family to see what everyday life brings. We go to a confirmation party attended by uncles and aunts from all over Denmark, and we visit granddad at the nursing home.   We also meet some of the problems of family life in Denmark; for example, a young mother describes the stressful nature of the life her family has to lead, and a father talks about the large number of divorces.
