Like Birds in a Cage is an outstanding documentary for children about a refugee camp in Croatia, experienced by two children. The girl Ivana and the boy Dalibor are the youngest residents of a refugee camp in former Yugoslavia. The last three years of their lives have been a true nightmare.

They’ve lost their parents, brothers, sisters, and many friends and now they’re waiting. They’re used to waiting. And as they wait they dream of completing their education, finding a family, and forging a future. But is there a future for them at all?
